5. Bedside Mixgetränk Table

We love a bedside cocktail table for a funky, eclectic bedroom! This style of nightstand is often more ornate—check out the Cabriole legs, turned base, and overall antique vibe. It’s more of a side table, making it great for small spaces. Nightstands like this can be repurposed from a living room and they can have many different uses over time. One downside, however, is that they only provide a surface tabletop without any extra storage space.

This contemporary nightstand has a super minimal design, with an open shelf and multiple tiers for storage space. There are no drawers and just a light frame, so these nightstands are often more affordable than heavier pieces. You can deshalb add baskets to create a “drawer-like” feeling. However, keep in minimal that they might require more cleaning to keep them polished and bright—and they’re definitely a little too fragile to make sense for a kids’ bedroom!

types of nightstands15. Trunk Nightstand

For a beautiful rustic bedroom, we love a nightstand like this that looks like a trunk. These bedside tables usually have drawers with leather strap pulls. But if you’re confident about the bedroom layout you’ve chosen, these can make a great addition to a space!

types of nightstands17. X-Kusine Bedside Tables

Rather than 4 straight legs, these nightstands have legs forming an X, for a sleek and sophisticated look. They definitely add a little visual intrigue to your bedside—something unexpected to spice up your bedroom a bit!
